We are a specialist company providing Solar PV (photovoltaic) installations to the domestic and commercial user. We offer a very competitive service from design to installation in Pembrokeshire, West Carmarthenshire and South Ceredigion. As a local family business our priority is complete customer satisfaction. We do not subcontract any of our work to others enabling us to guarantee complete control of quality and workmanship standards. Solar Photovoltaics, or Solar PV for short, is a type of renewable energy technology. Capable of converting light into electrical current, it means you can generate your own electricity.

ABOUT US

Preseli Solar was conceived by Nick and Ian in late 2010 in response to a realisation that the rapidly growing solar PV market was being dominated by large national installation companies with a ‘fit in a day and move on’ policy leading to sub-standard installations. We felt that the people of West Wales deserved better and set about on a period of education and training to put us in a position to offer that service.

Nick already had nearly 20 years of electrical expertise under his belt and Ian, after 13 years as a chartered accountant, the head for the figures and paperwork required for gaining MCS accreditation. We both also had extensive roof work and carpentry experience but nevertheless up-skilled in all these areas. Various training courses were attended including an invaluable week long course at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth.

The company commenced trading in July 2011 and gained MCS accreditation following its first install in early August 2011. We haven’t looked back since and now have hundreds of installations and happy customers around West Wales.

Preseli Solar Ltd. is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Phoenix Financial Consultants Limited (“Phoenix”). Phoenix is a credit broker, not a lender. Phoenix is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Financial Services Register No. 539195), and offers finance from its panel of lenders.
